Unlike many venues, Nemacolin can provide a backdrop for diverse wedding designs. The property embraces bold color, art installations, and eccentric interiors, making it the perfect space for a whimsical, out-of-the-box celebration. But at the same time, it houses polished ballrooms with stunning chandeliers, which invite a classic, sophisticated experience. Theatrical, fanciful weddings with personal installations are just as accessible as candlelit tables, elegant florals, and estate-style ceremony settings.

As event designers, we are endlessly inspired by the unique opportunities that Nemacolin offers, starting with the aptly named Bleu Room located inside The Chateau. This small, completely blue room is inspired by Versailles. It’s the perfect space for cocktails, portraits, or an intimate gathering that leans into the unconventional design of the property.
Outdoors, the Chateau Gardens and the surrounding meadows offer beautiful ceremony locations. One meadow in particular, Lone Tree, is anchored by a single large tree. This creates a natural focal point and works especially well for ceremonies or tented dinners. If you want to celebrate indoors, The Marquis Ballroom has everything you need. It has the infrastructure needed for lighting, entertainment, and larger guest counts. The resort also has several pool locations with large decks that are perfect for welcome parties or late-night events, where we can easily incorporate staging and live music.
Remember the vintage car collection we mentioned? The Woodlands Auto Toy Store is a large garage filled with classic cars. And yes, you can host an event in there. This unexpected space is perfect for a rehearsal dinner or welcome party. And, of course, there’s the private airstrip. If you want something truly unique, you can stage the landing strip as an event space. We can’t think of a better arrival than a small private plane.
