Ceremony and Reception Layout
Catherine and Krishna chose to have their ceremony in a local chapel. This was such a charming and intimate setting for their vows. Afterward, guests were escorted to cocktail hour in the Williamsburg Inn gardens. The lush greenery and peaceful ambiance of the gardens made for a serene atmosphere and set the tone for the evening.
The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom. The ballroom, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and intricate molding, was the perfect setting for dinner and dancing. The use of King Louis chairs for the head table and birch white chairs for the guests added a touch of sophistication to the decor. The color scheme of peach and pink, complemented by soft whites and greenery, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. These colors were also a subtle nod to Virginia Tech’s colors, paying homage to the couple’s alma mater.
