10. You don’t have the time. The average wedding takes about 200 hours to plan. Most of the time it takes up to 300-400 hours since you will spend extra hours vetting out vendors, sourcing your rentals, and orchestrating everything. There are a ton of people to hire. It takes time to find them and get everything in order. It’s a full time job. A professional wedding planner can get this done in half the time. This allows you to still work your real full time job, spend time with your people, and have a social life.
9. You may be able to save money. Wedding planners send vendors repeat business. The good ones know the margins on catering and hotels.
