Couples have the choice between two distinct venues: The Lodge and The Event Barn. The Lodge is a 12,000 square foot, 100-year-old stable that has been renovated to include all of the modern amenities, a luxurious rustic aesthetic, and a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a gorgeous bridal suite and a great loft for the guys to hang out in. Double oversized glass doors open to an expansive wooden deck that has a large outdoor fireplace and two antique water fountains. This area adds great ambiance for cocktail hour, enjoying the views, and conversations with friends.
The second space is the Event Barn. This is a renovated 8,500 square foot historic barn with a 30-foot high stone fireplace. The Event Barn offers a unique country estate setting with rolling hills, a waterfront ceremony location, and vibrant vineyards. This location also has a great bridal suite, grooms suite, and an outdoor terrace with a large fireplace.
On the 6,000 acre property are several lodging options. There are multiple locations for couples, families, and guests. If you are staying on the property there are several activities you can take advantage of. There is a private lake complete with floats and paddle boats, a hot air balloon, horseback riding, fishing, and tennis. The Tasting Room and Taphouse is available for dinner and drinks, Mount Ida also offers a shuttle service that will take you around the property or into town for even more activities.
